A large warehouse fire that broke out early Friday has forced the closure of a stretch of the 10 Freeway in Redlands.
initial reports said that the warehouse is a facility for Amazon, though officials could not immediately confirm the information.
The blaze was reported at a warehouse in the area of California Street and Lugonia Avenue about 5:30 a.m. video from the scene showed massive flames engulfing the building and plumes of black smoke billowing into the air.
It was not immediately clear why you were there.
As a result of the fire, authorities signaled 10 freeway closures in both directions. The eastbound side remains closed at Mountain view Avenue and the westbound side remains closed at California Street, according to the California Department of Transportation Action.
