Two people were killed after a car ferry and their water sank between Maimi Beach and Fisher Island, Florida
Police announced early Wednesday morning that the car and two dead bodies had been recovered. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.
The Miami-Dade Police Department said the incident happened around 4 pm local time on Tuesday when Future island was carrying vehicles off the island. A blue 2019 Mercedes Benz that includes two women. Jumped aboard the ship and sank to the fifty feet -deep channel government.
Divers from the Miami Dade Fire Rescue as well as the Miami-Dade Police Department launched a search and eventually located the sunken vehicle late that night with two unresponsive women inside.

The identity of victims found in Georgia missing for several days has not yet been released.
”The United States will investigate the coast guard maritimely incident. And the Miami-Dade Police Department will investigate the death,” police spokesperson Alvaro Zabaleta said in a statement Wednesday.
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber posted a statement on Facebook, calling the incident a ”horrible tragedy.”
