According to the news sources at New Hampshire, addressing a rally of his supporters, President Donald Trump said that in the wake of the two mass shootings in Ohio and Texas he is of the opinion that more mental institutions should be opened to cure mental illnesses which are the real cause of mass gun violence. And this cannot be controlled alone with gun sale control.

In his address he said that he wanted to re-open those mental institutions that had been closed due to scarcity of resources.

“Years ago, many cities, I remember it well, closed mental institutions to budget. They let those people out onto the street,” he said. “They closed to many of them and they let really seriously mentally ill people out on the streets.”

No further details of his plan are known yet though he said, “We will be taking mentally deranged and dangerous people off of the streets so we won’t have to worry so much about them. A big problem.”

He added, “There are seriously ill people and they’re on the streets.”

The president further said that after these two shootings he did not want to take any such steps that would make it difficult for the law-abiding citizens to protect themselves.

“We are going to have to give major consideration to building new facilities for those in need. We have to do it,” Trump said.
