According to a report given by 7 News there has been a mid-air emergency in Jandakot.
The news agency has reported that the instructor of the plane suffered a medical emergency during the lesson. with the help of some directions from the air traffic control, the student managed to land the plane safely.
The instructor is now being given the necessary medical attention.
Geoffery Thomas the West Australian aviation editor said the plane was a VH-TFR and the instructor was believed to have had a seizure.He said the student did “a superb job”.
The air traffic control had been in contact with the pilot who was under training, and with their instructions he was able to make a safe landing.
The pilot made several passes with the tower telling him “you’ve got this mate” as he safely landed.
